BAGAN

The city of four million pagoda ' the Bagon Archaeological zone is a 4289km sun-drenched plain with over 2200extant tempkes, pagodas and otrher religious eclifices. It is situated on the eastern bank of the Ayeyarwaddy river about 193km south of Mandalay. The 10th century archaeological site condidered as one of the richest and most amazing sites in Asia. Temples today are ruied byearthquake and ctecay. Hightlights are river view, temples, surround villages, rural life, markets and their art of the Asia's best lacquare ware art. To watch the amazing sunset is the unforgettable memory for all visitore and like on a planet.

AROUND BAGAN

MT. POPA

Mt. Popa, an hour drive from Bagan is 1518 m high a vdcahic plug. In BC-442 a great earthquake roared and BAGAN plain rose Mt. Popa. This is one of the ecological park in Myanmar. The whote mountain is green with lush trees and that prevail hot and dry climate conditions of central Myanmar. Climbing to the summit takes about 45minutes and you can visit the Mahagiri Nat shrine ( spirits ) at the top. The view in dry join central Myanmar. So the mountain said to be Mt. Olympus of Myanmar.

Mt. Popa
